a. The Sophie@103.7’s World Tour contest (the “Contest”) will be begin on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 7:10am and will end on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 9:00am. (“Contest Period”)

b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter via the following method: Listen to KSCF (the “Station”) beginning on Monday, May 26, 2008 through Monday, June 9, 2008 between 6:00am and 11:59pm each day for the cue to call to be aired.  Upon hearing the cue to call, the designated number caller (as announced by the on-air pre-recorded cue to call) to reach the Station Contest Line at 888-388-1037 will win a qualifying prize and qualify for the grand prize drawing (upon confirmation of eligibility). At the time of their call, designated callers will be required to provide their first and last name, complete address including city, state, and zip code, telephone number, and date of birth. The cue to call will be announced a minimum of one time (1) each day and a maximum of thirty (30) Qualifying Winners will be selected during the dates and times mentioned above.

c. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.

d. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to call in to become a qualifying winner, but a listener may become a qualifying winner only once during the Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in San Diego County in the state of California.  Employees of the Station, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the San Diego metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and laws.

b. Listeners may only win one prize every thirty (30) days or every six (6) months if the prize value is $1,000 or greater.  Only one winner per household is permitted in any station contest.

c. Grand prize winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification upon receipt of prize and sign and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Liability/Publicity Release.

d. Grand prize winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining a passport by Monday, May 26, 2008 to redeem the grand prize.

3. PRIZES

a.  Thirty (30) Qualifying Prizes will be awarded. Each Qualifying Prize is one (1) “Police – The Police 2- Disk Anthology” CD and one (1) Counting Crows “Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings” CD Estimated Value = $40.00.  

b. One (1) grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize consists of the following: Roundtrip coach class airfare for two (2) (from Travelation.com) (for the grand prize winner and travel companion) from San Diego, CA. to Venice, Italy departing on Saturday, June 21st , 2008 and returning  Monday, June 23, 2008 two nights one (1) room double occupancy hotel accommodations from         June 21st , 2008 – June 23rd, 2008 and a pair of tickets to the Heineken Jammin’ Festival on June 22, 2008 at the San Giuliano Park. Travel companion of winner must travel with winner on the same travel itinerary. Travel companion of the winner must be twenty one years of age or older. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Station has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance.  Any winners of certificates/vouchers will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the provider of the certificate/voucher. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for all applicable taxes including but not limited to hotel, hospitality and airport taxes, telephone charges, meals, gratuities, ground transportation and any other expenses not specifically offered herein.  Winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check-in to cover incidental expenses incurred during stay. Other restrictions may apply. Grand prize winner and travel companion must have a valid passport to travel.  ARV of Grand Prize is: $5,000.00.

c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by  5:30pm on 6/13/08. Under no circumstances does the station mail out any prize/prizes.  If prize must be picked up at location other than the station, the winner will be notified within 24 hours by via telephone of the event by station employee.

d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b. Thirty (30) qualifying winners will be selected in accordance to Section 1b above. 

c. On 6/9/08 at approximately 6:50am, one (1) Grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing off all qualifying winners.

d. The odds of winning a qualifying prize depend upon the order and number of phone calls received.  Odds of a qualifying winner winning the grand prize are approximately 1 in 30.

e. Qualifying winners must listen to win but need not be present to win.  Grand prize winner need not listen or be present to win.

f. Grand prize winner will be notified via phone or email following the drawing.  If the grand prize winner cannot be reached by 5:00pm PT on 6/11/08, an alternate grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing of the remaining qualifying winners. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion will be required to complete and return any and all Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Forms by 5:30pm on 6/13/08 or prize will be forfeited, and no alternate winner will be selected.

5.CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Grand prize winner will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent or the prize will be forfeited.  Failure to provide an accurate and complete SSN, if required, is a violation of federal law and will result in forfeiture of prize.

b. By participating in the Contest, the winners and their guests, if any, agree to have their names, voices, or likenesses used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c.Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winners and their guests, if any, to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.

d.The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, or has a change of venue, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest  and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e.Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification, solely at the discretion of the Station.

f.The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
