1. HOW TO ENTER

a. The MGM Grand Maximum Vegas Getaway (the “Contest”) will begin on 7/07/2008 at approximately 12:00am Pacific Time (“PT”) and end on 7/27/2008 at approximately 11:59pm PT (the “Contest Period”).

b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter via one (1) of the following methods:

1. Beginning at 12:00am on 7/07/2008, log on to www.radiosophie.com and click on the link for this contest to enter your first and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number, date of birth and a valid email address in the online entry form. Only one (1) internet entry per person and one (1) internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sophie@103.7 (the “Station”) and will not be acknowledged or returned. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of an online entry will be solely determined when the www.radiosophie.com  web server records the entry information. Any automated computer receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute actual receipt of an entry form for purposes of these Official Rules. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. The Station’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this contest. All entries must be received by 11:59pm PT on 7/27/2008.

c. The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.  The Station is also not responsible for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible or untimely entries.

d. One entry per person.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The Contest is open to all persons who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and who reside in San Diego County in the state of California. Employees of Sophie@103.7 KSCF  (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the San Diego metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
b. Listeners may only win one prize every thirty (30) days or every six (6) months if the prize value is $1,000 or greater. Only one winner per household is permitted in any station contest.

c. Winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification upon receipt of prize and sign and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Liability/Publicity Release. 

d. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3. PRIZES
a. One (1) winner will receive a two (2) night stay at the MGM Grand located at 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South Las Vegas, Nevada 89109, two (2) tickets to KA by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand and two (2) VIP passes to the MGM Grand pool Wet Republic. The winner and his/her guest are responsible for travel to/from Las Vegas, NV. Winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon checking into the hotel. No prize substitutions, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Station. Prize subject to availability and the Station reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to award a prize of greater or equal value if the advertised prize is unavailable. If the Grand Prize Winner cannot travel on dates specified by the Station, winner may be disqualified and an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected. All other costs not specifically stated herein, including, but not limited to accommodation, taxes, meals, tips and ground transportation, are the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. In addition, travel companion of Winner must be 21 years of age or older. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion must sign a Publicity, Liability Waiver and Travel Release form prior to traveling. If a selected event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, or for any reason beyond the control of the Station, the Station’s sole responsibility to the Grand Prize Winner will be to award the remaining available portion of the prize and no substitution will be provided for unawarded portion of prize. Tickets are subject to terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Seat locations to be determined by the Station. The Approximate Retail Value of prize:

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The winner must pick up the prize from the Station. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b. On 7/28/2008 at approximately 10:00am PT, one (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing of all eligible online entries received.

c. Winners need not listen or be present to win.

d. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

e. Winner will be notified via telephone or email on 7/28/08 following the drawing at approximately 10:00am PT. If winner cannot be reached within 24 hours of the initial notification attempt, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will selected in a random drawing of the remaining eligible entries. Winners all qualifying including the grand prize winner. Winners must complete the Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form by August 27, 2008. Prize will be forfeited and no alternate winner will be selected.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.

b. By participating in the Contest, the winners and their guests agree to have their names, voices, or likenesses used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winners and their guests to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.

d. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules.  It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, or has a change of venue, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

f. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, solely at the discretion of the Station. 

g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

h. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studios of Sophie@103.7, located at 8033 Linda Vista Road, San Diego, CA 92111.

4. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY
