Radio Station KSCF accepts new music submissions via CD or in their uncompressed form through approved, secure download site. MP3’s generally are not accepted. Submissions must be made to:

Add Policy
Radio Station KSCF adds new music to the playlist via: local audience music research, regional/national building stories, and by judgments of the KSCF music committee consisting of PD: Charlie Quinn, Music Director: Mark Blackwell and Music Coordinator: Cristy Westfall, etc.

KSCF new music submission policies do not exclude independent promotion companies, or independent record promoters, as a class from gaining access to KSCF’s programming and music department, so long as the indie is not compensated by the record company on the basis of adds. Any indie that wishes to work with KSCF must first sign the CBS Radio Independent Music Promoter Certification Letter (also attached), which confirms that the indie is not compensated on the basis of adds and will not provide KSCF with any consideration.

All non-cash consideration from record labels must be confirmed in writing and tracked internally. CBS Radio policy prohibits all KSCF programming, promotions/marketing, and music and on-air staffs from accepting cash or cash equivalents of any kind from record labels or artists.

RE:     Independent Music Promoter Certification

On behalf of Station [call sign] (the “Station”), I am writing to confirm that Stationwould liketo have on-going discussions with you concerning certain music and musical artists that you represent, subject to your certification below. 

The parties verify that Station will not accept any consideration whatsoever from you or your company. You further verify that no compensation to you from any record company is based on airplay. 

Please certify your agreement to these terms by signing this letter and returning a faxed copy to me.
